Provision of funds to the tune of `3,60.00 lakh by way of supplementary provision
was made towards payment of salaries to the staff as per requirements. However, reasons
for non-utilisation of entire supplementary provision and for reduction in provision have
not been intimated (August 2013).

Provision of funds to the tune of `6.20 lakh by way of supplementary provision was
made towards expenditure on service postage and telephone charges. As the expenditure
fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary provision of `6.20 lakh
obtained in March 2013 proved unnecessary. However, reasons for non-utilisation of
entire supplementary provision and for reduction in provision as well as increase have not
been intimated (August 2013).
Similar saving occurred during the year 2011-12.
CAPITAL
(i) As no expenditure was incurred, the supplementary provision of `30,00.00 lakh
obtained inMarch 2013 proved unnecessary.
