(i) As the expenditure fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary provision
of `2,12,74.14 lakh obtained in March 2013 proved unnecessary and could have been
restricted to a token provision wherever necessary.
(ii) Out of the saving of `7,29,31.44 lakh, only `7,08,84.23 lakh was surrendered
during the year.
(iii) Saving in original and supplementary provision occurred mainly under:

Out of the total reduction in provision of `5,92.70 lakh, decrease of `5,68.00 lakh
was stated to be due to non-commencement of works for want of administrative orders.
Specific reasons for remaining decrease of `24.70 lakh have not been intimated
