Reduction in provision was the net effect of decrease of `91.35 lakh and an increase of
`4.90 lakh. Out of total reduction in provision by `91.35 lakh, decrease of `7.93 lakh was
stated to be due to non-filling up of vacancies and non-receipt of requisition fromunit offices.
Specific reasons for remaining decrease of `83.42 lakh as well as reasons for increase in
provision and reasons for final excess have not been intimated (August 2013).
