Increase in provision was the net effect of increase of `2,12,17.44 lakh and decrease
of `78,48.70 lakh. Out of total increase in provision by `2,12,17.44 lakh, increase of
`58,00.00 lakh was stated to be towards Reimbursement of Tuition fee to the students.
Specific reasons for remaining increase of `1,54,17.44 lakh and decrease have not been
intimated (August 2013).
In viewof the final saving for which reasons have not been intimated, the Supplementary
provision of `1,56,22.00 lakh obtained inMarch 2013 proved excessive.
CAPITAL
(i)As the expenditure fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary provision
of `20,57.10 lakh obtained inMarch 2013 proved unnecessary and could have been restricted
to a token provision , wherever necessary.
(ii) The surrender of `2,35,94.55 lakh in the month March 2013 was in excess of
eventual saving of `1,95,95.79 lakh.
(iii) Saving in original plus supplementary provision occurredmainly under:
