As the expenditure fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary
provision of

4,21.68 lakh obtained in March 2013 towards medical charges reimbursement
in respect of Chairman, pay and allowances, payment of contingencies and motor vehicles
proved unnecessary.
Reduction in provision was the net effect of decrease of

61.50 lakh was stated to be due to (i) non-
starting of works for want of administrative orders (ii) late receipt of further continuation
of Contract Employees and (iii) non-filling up of vacancies, specific reasons for

provision was stated to be due to non-filling up of vacancies.
Reasons for final saving have not been intimated (August 2013).
