Reduction in provision was the net effect of decrease of `1,13.81 lakh and an increase of
`36.69 lakh. Out of the total reduction in provision by `1,13.81 lakh, decrease of `36.09 lakh
was stated to be due to non-commencement of works for want of administrative orders, non-
filling up of vacancies and non-receipt of requisition from unit offices. Specific reasons for
remaining decrease of `77.72 lakh as well as increase in provision have not been intimated
(August 2013).
