(i) As the expenditure fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary provision
of ` 1,11,90.56 lakh obtained in March 2013 proved unnecessary and could have
been restricted to a token provision , wherever necessary.
(ii) Out of the saving of `6,19,02.99 lakh, only `5,39,30.03 lakh was surrendered during
the year.
