(i)As the expenditure fell short of even the original provision, the supplementary provision
of `1,22,07.46 lakh obtained during March 2013 proved unnecessary and could have been
restricted to a token provision wherever necessary.
(ii) Out of the saving of `2,21,11.95 lakh, only `2,14,30.54 lakh was surrendered in
March 2013.
