Reduction in provision was the net effect of decrease of `1,35.35 lakh and an increase of
`0.10 lakh. Out of the total reduction in provision by `1,35.35 lakh, decrease of `37.10 lakh
was stated to be due to non-commencement of works for want of administrative orders, while
increase in provision was stated to be due to (i) payment of salaries to 4 newly recruitedAddl
P.PGr.II (ii) filling up of certain vacant posts in theDistrict offices. Specific reasons for remaining
decrease of `98.25 lakh as well as reasons for final saving have not been intimated (August
2013).
Similar saving occurred during the years 2010-11 and 2011-12.
